MCrashCraft.

📢 Test broadcast
Plays a "this is only a test" message on the live broadcast — the plain attention
tone (never the loud emergency alarm), matching real NOAA Weather Radio test practice. Clears
itself automatically after a few minutes.
🧪 Test an alert type
Fires a clearly-labeled TEST of one specific alert type's real sequence —
the correct attention tone (loud two-tone EAS, repeated twice, for Warning-tier types like
Tornado Warning; the lighter single beep for Watches/Advisories) and correct wording, so you
can verify every type actually sounds right — not just one generic test message. Always says
"THIS IS A TEST... NOT a real [type]," never the real "announcing [event]" opening. Clears
itself after a few minutes.
📣 Manual alert
A real message from you, the station operator — not the National Weather Service.
Broadcasts through the same pipeline as automatic alerts: spoken (with the official MAS
opening), shown on the map and alert list, with the county/city names resolved from the
location you give. Choosing "Warning" plays the full loud alarm tone and repeats the
announcement twice, like a real warning; "Watch"/"Advisory" use the lighter tone and play once.
🤖 AI Forecast experimental
Written by a local AI model running on this machine (LM Studio), summarizing
MAS's own real data for the location below. Not an official National Weather Service
forecast. Internal/operator use only — not shown anywhere on the public site — since
generation runs a real AI model on this machine and can take a few minutes.
